Senior Financial Analyst Sharp and Carter Finance and Accounting Sydney location Sydney. Salary Circa $120,000 - $140,000 + Super. An exciting role with an industry-leading FMCG / Retail organisation currently exists in order to fill a key role in their team. This senior analyst position will help provide insightful analysis into key performance trends that exist in order to drive the positive financial direction of the company. Initially this will be a contractual assignment, however there is significant scope for extension and/or permanency. The responsibilities reporting to the head of finance, you will be responsible for preparing and analysing weekly trade reporting, as required, analysing performance including detailed commentary on variances, identifying risks and opportunities, and developing options to mitigate them, preparation of monthly board papers and executive presentations, developing insights, working collaboratively with the teams to understand performance and to drive efficient and effective ways of working, working with strategy and customer insights to understand the market and customer sentiment and link to trade performance, supporting the annual planning process including development, analysis and consolidation of 3 year p&l, cashflow and balance sheet, sourcing and analysing data from sap bw and other systems as required. The successful applicant will have ideally, you will be a technically strong accounting professional and will possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills as your ability to interact and engage cross functionally within the business will be crucial to your success. Additionally, you will have a strong attention to detail, had experience with the SAP software and have had experience in the FMCG / Retail industry prior.
