About the Role

We're seeking an experienced Senior BMS Service Technician to join our growing South Australian team. Working across our expanding Defence portfolio as well as a range of commercial and industrial sites, you'll play a key role in ensuring critical building systems operate safely, efficiently, and reliably.

This is a full-time field-based position offering a blend of technical challenge, autonomy, and career progression.

What You'll Do

Perform preventative maintenance and fault-finding on Building Management Systems (BMS)

Service and troubleshoot HVAC controls, lighting controls, and energy management systems

Diagnose and repair BMS hardware, software, and communication issues

Work with complex IT and IP-based control networks

Prepare quotations and implement system upgrades, enhancements, and modifications

Provide technical advice and support to customers and facility managers

Complete service documentation and maintain accurate records

Collaborate with technical support teams and project stakeholders to deliver exceptional customer outcomes

Utilise client portals and service management systems to manage and close out service activities

What You'll Bring

Proven experience in BMS, HVAC controls, building automation, or related service environments

Relevant qualifications in HVAC, Electrical, Controls, Automation, or Building Services

Strong understanding of networking concepts, IP communications, switches, and system integration

Proficiency with Microsoft 365 applications

Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills

Strong customer service and communication abilities

Ability to work independently while contributing effectively within a team

Current driver's licence

Eligibility to obtain and maintain a Defence Security Clearance (Baseline minimum)
