Who are we Selby Acoustics is one of Australia's largest independent retailers of Home Theatre, Hi-Fi and AV accessories, offering a wide range of Audio Visual Electronics and a huge range of cables, stands and mounting systems and accessories from leading manufacturers, including our own brands.

We currently have a fulltime opportunity for an experienced Retail Store Manager to help us continue our fantastic growth record. We are looking for an individual who is a committed and enthusiastic team player with strong retail performance experience and management.

Is this you have a demonstrated history in managing a retail store, you bring a natural ability to influence, coach and mentor teams. You can confidently manage team to deliver targets and drive operational excellence. You recognise and support the importance of integrity and honesty in everything you and your teams do.

You are not afraid to have courageous conversations and can navigate challenging situations. You can support and mentor team members to achieve their ambitions and dreams whilst delivering on the KPI’s and targets of the business.

You are passionate about Home Theatre/Audio Visual and are willing to work within rostering guidelines which include working Saturdays. You have excellent written and verbal skills that enables you to effectively communicate with suppliers, stakeholders and customers. Experienced and able to manage high performance teams, you recognise that excellent customer service is the foundation of all retail relationships.

Your new role working between our Hallam and Thornbury Stores, this dynamic position is a leading role in our highly regarded customer service team and involves providing and managing others to provide friendly advice and support to new and existing customers, via phone, email and in store.

Our Store Managers are commercially astute and forward-thinking innovators, whose purpose is to drive growth through a clear business plan that includes identifying new opportunities to grow sales, maximise team sales effectiveness and providing customer service excellence.
