School Secretary or Office Administrator Glamorgan School location Auckland.

The position is made up of a combination of skill sets, so requires a person who is adaptable and willing to work with our team. This is a part time, permanent position of 20 hours per week, term time. Hours are fixed daily from 12:00pm – to 4pm, Mondays to Fridays. Occasional work outside of school hours may be required from time to time.

Skills and experience to be successful in this role, we are seeking the following skills and attributes excellent reception, administration and secretarial skills. Experience with finances. Willing to train and work with administering first aid to children. Positive working relationships with people. A professional, approachable and helpful manner. Computer literacy including data entry, a reasonable typing speed and experience of Excel.

Excellent English skills – written and spoken. Accuracy, attention to detail, organised, reliable and honest. A high level of loyalty, discretion and respect for the school community. Ability and willingness to learn and participate in professional learning. A degree of flexibility. Great communication skills. Sense of humour.
