St Paul’s Grammar School is a co-educational, non-denominational Christian Grammar school located in Sydney’s Greater West. Position summary the purpose of the School Receptionist is to manage, directly general provision of welcome, support and hospitality to the school front office, delivering a friendly, efficient, confidential and professional service at all times. In addition, the Reception Officer will provide overflow administrative support where appropriate.
The successful applicant will have equivalent to TAFE Certificate III in Office Administration or equivalent knowledge and experience. Proficient administration, reception and telephone system skills and experience. Strong interpersonal skills; the ability to effectively liaise with a broad range of internal and external stakeholders.
Demonstrated organisational skills, including the ability to work to competing deadlines. Proven ability to work as a constructive member of a team with a professional, courteous manner. High-level skills using computer- based applications, which may include MS Office Suite (Internet Explorer, Outlook, PowerPoint, Word and Excel). Ability to quickly familiarise with new applications and platforms and be willing to be trained in unfamiliar platforms.
IT skills and competence; specifically, in Microsoft Office, and Synergetic (or competence with a workplace Database system). A flexible and innovative approach to work. Outstanding professional presentation and manner. Current First Aid Certificate, including CPR. Membership of a local Christian church or community. Current Working with Children Check (NSW WWCC) and evidence of vaccinations for COVID-19 consistent with St Paul’s Policy and the relevant Public Health Order.
