Pets In The City are seeking a vibrant, customer focused Receptionist/Customer Care Representative to join our busy Wairau Park team. You must have previous experience delivering exceptional customer service in a busy front line customer care position and preferably have experience in the Petcare industry - although this is not essential.

Pets In The City are luxury Pet Hotel and Doggie Daycare facilities dedicated to offering the very best care and amenities to our customers beloved dogs.  Pets In The City is a unique concept in the Petcare industry offering a wide range of services including doggie daycare, dog hotel accommodation, dog grooming, training and pet focused retail – all in the heart of the city.  We operate 7 days a week including public holidays. Pets In The City is widely recognised as a market leader in pet accommodation and doggie daycare.  With three Auckland branches on the North Shore, Mt Wellington and Silverdale.

You will be working as part of a team responsible for the coordination and smooth running of a busy front of house reception area.  As the first point of contact for our customers, this is a key role within our organisation. Responsibilities include meeting and greeting pets and their owners on check in and departure, handling of all telephone and email enquiries and bookings, daycare, overnight guests and grooming check-ins and check-outs, assisting caregivers when required, actively promoting all products and services marketed by Pets In The City and generally ensuring the seamless delivery of exceptional customer care to our customers at all times.

You will be required to work on a rotating roster across any 7 days in the week, including evenings and weekends, public and school holidays as required. Previous experience in a front office and customer service role is required and an animal care, training or vet nurse qualification will be highly regarded. Fluency in English is a key requirement.
