Job description we have an opportunity for a Receptionist/Administration Assistant to join our Centre Management Office at Merrylands Shopping Centre. An integral role providing support to the centre team and retailers. This is a 12-month fixed term contract available now.

About the role a busy and varied role with no two days the same. Providing a high level of administration and customer service, supporting across a range of administrative tasks. This role will see you interacting with a wide variety of individuals, providing you with an opportunity to showcase your excellent customer service and communication skills and gain experience within centre administration and operations.

Based on site, Monday to Friday, 9.00am -5.30pm. Your position will include acting as the point of contact for the Centre management office including anyone coming into the centre office and managing all initial phone calls and actioning accordingly.

Providing day to day administrative support for the Centre management team such as managing tenant enquiries and payments. Support with general adhoc administrative tasks including payments receipting, gift card reconciliations. Maintain effective records control and file management.

About you you'll bring solid frontline reception or administration experience with a strong customer service focus. Attention to detail and a proactive approach to your work, with the ability to multi-task and prioritise. Competent computer skills across the Microsoft Office suite including Outlook, Excel and Word, experience using record management systems and comfortable learning and picking up new software packages. Interpersonal and communication skills and able to work as part of a team or autonomously. Able to use your initiative and maintain confidentiality as required.
