Receptionist or Administration Assistant Pyramid Trucking Ltd location Waikato. $52,000 per year.

We are looking for a Receptionist / Administration Assistant to join our team on a permanent 40 hrs per week. Our small team needs an office administration superstar.  Great Team Environment located in Te Aroha. Training will be provided in the more complex accounts duties but to be considered you will need to have previously used Xero to perform high level data entry.

You will need to be reliable, enthusiastic and hardworking in order to fit in with our team. In addition, you will need to be well presented and confident as you will be the first face our customers see when they arrive at the office.

Your key responsibilities include answering and transferring incoming calls or taking detailed messages. Greeting and welcoming guests as they arrive at the office, Data entry, Filing, Any general office administration duties as required.

We are looking for candidates who possess all of the following at least three year's of previous reception or administration experience. Computer skills, particularly MS Word and Excel. Ability to learn new computer programmes - we use My Trucking and Google Drive daily. Exposure to Xero accounting is a must.

Ability to deliver tasks successfully to agreed timeframes while dealing positively with unexpected assignments. Attention to detail. Ability to multi-task. Proactive approach to working in a team environment. A good command of both written and spoken English. A strong understanding of exceptional customer service.

Working effectively without supervision and managing and organising fluctuating workloads, sometimes in stressful situations. A strong work ethic and a focus on confidentiality in the office. The ability to multi-task and manage conflicting priorities. Proven effective time management. Daily work would be assisting our admininstration team of 3 but also a huge part of the day is assisting our dispatch team with entering of jobs.

Essential Requirements for this role New Zealand Citizenship or Permanent Residence. Clean criminal history. Be able to work 8.30am – 5.00pm Mon – Fri (hours can be worked to suit school finishing times and starting earlier but 8.30am is the latest start time).
