ACCIONA has partnered with Sydney Water and SMEC to form the Malabar System Alliance, delivering a ten-year program to expand and modernise wastewater treatment capacity across Sydney's south and west. The first package involves major upgrades to the Liverpool and Glenfield Water Resource Recovery Facilities, with construction due for completion in 2029.

About Opportunity

We are looking for a Quality Coordinator to join the Malabar System Alliance and support the delivery of a critical wastewater infrastructure program. Reporting to the Quality Manager, you will help implement the Construction Quality Management Plan and ensure our quality systems are effectively established and maintained in line with project specifications, regulatory requirements and industry standards. You will play a key role in driving strong quality practices on site and building a culture of continuous improvement across the project team.

Key accountabilities for the position will be:

Implement the Construction Quality Management Plan

Lead inspection and test activities across site

Identify, document and manage non-conformances

Drive corrective and preventive actions

Maintain accurate project quality documentation

Support audits against project and regulatory standards

Promote a culture of continuous improvement

Required Skills and Competencies

Experience in construction quality inspection and testing

Working knowledge of relevant codes and standards

Skilled in non-conformance and corrective action management

Strong written and verbal communication skills

Degree or diploma in quality, engineering or related field
