About this role this role is based in the Corporate Services and Business improvement team in a professional and culturally diverse branch. The team centrally manages the Ministry of Health finances, budgeting and recouping centralised management of contracts and procurement activity is part of this function.

As a Project Officer, you will play a key role in supporting staff across the Ministry of Health and NSW Health Agencies to facilitate and deliver seamless financial services. The successful applicant will be joining a vibrant and fast-paced Unit that supports opportunities for further learning and professional development.

Where you'll be working the Corporate Services & Business Improvement Branch (CSBI) is part of the FSAM Division of the NSW Ministry of Health (MOH). CSBI co-ordinates the strategic direction and provide high-level advice and service delivery to the Financial Controller, Division and Branch executives and project managers in relation to planning, evaluation, use and maintenance of financial resources for Division and Branches. The branch also oversees the corporate services functions for the MOH and other entities ensuring that all processes and systems provide operational efficiencies.

What you'll be doing support activities to contribute to the development and delivery of a range of projects to meet business objectives. Administrative support functions, facilitating timely end-to-end reconciliation of journals actions in accordance with the legislation, rules and policies. Ensuring high levels of customer service. Coordinate, support and provide expert advice to key internal and external stakeholders. Implementing strategic project initiatives and providing analytical services to improve operational efficiency .
