THE WORK:
Step into a role where your expertise in industrial networks and operational technology helps keep critical systems secure, connected, and performing at their best. As a PCN Engineer at Accenture, you'll play a key role in designing, supporting, and improving Process Control Network environments across complex industrial operations.
Working alongside multidisciplinary teams, you'll help deliver reliable and secure network solutions that support operational excellence, cybersecurity compliance, and business continuity.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
Design, implement, and support Process Control Network (PCN) infrastructure within operational technology (OT) environments
Configure and maintain industrial network technologies including switches, firewalls, routers, and network monitoring tools
Support system integration activities across control systems, SCADA platforms, and industrial applications
Troubleshoot network performance, connectivity, and cybersecurity issues across critical infrastructure environments
Contribute to network architecture, technical standards, and lifecycle management activities
Collaborate with control systems, cybersecurity, and operations teams to improve network reliability, resilience, and security
Support technology upgrades, system migrations, and infrastructure refresh projects
Ensure compliance with relevant cybersecurity frameworks, engineering standards, and site requirements
HERE'S WHAT YOU WILL NEED:
Experience supporting industrial networks within mining, energy, utilities, manufacturing, or other operational technology environments
Strong knowledge of Ethernet networking, TCP/IP, routing, switching, VLANs, and network security principles
Experience working with industrial network equipment such as Cisco, Hirschmann, Stratix, Palo Alto, or equivalent technologies
Understanding of OT/ICS environments, including SCADA and control system architectures
Ability to diagnose and resolve complex network and communications issues
A bachelor's degree in engineering, information technology, computer science, or a related discipline.
BONUS POINTS IF YOU HAVE:
Experience with OT cybersecurity frameworks such as ISA/IEC 62443 or NIST
Knowledge of industrial protocols including Modbus, DNP3, OPC, EtherNet/IP, or Profinet
Experience supporting mining, heavy industry, or critical infrastructure environments
Industry certifications such as CCNA, CCNP, Fortinet NSE, or equivalent
Exposure to cloud-connected OT architectures and remote operations environments.
