About the Role
We are looking for a highly motivated and skilled Postdoctoral Research Fellow with a background in chemistry, materials science, chemical engineering, or biomedical engineering to join our dynamic research team as a Research Scientist/Engineer. In this role, you will contribute to the development and validation of an innovative nanophotonic therapy aimed at treating drug-resistant hypertension.
The successful candidate will be responsible for synthesizing, chemically functionalizing, and characterizing nanoparticles for targeted delivery to specific biological sites in the human body. Additional responsibilities include conducting in vitro cellular evaluations of the nanoparticles, analyzing data from cytotoxicity and bioavailability studies, and supporting team members with animal studies and immunohistochemistry, as needed.

About You
To be suitable for this role you will need to have experience in the below key accountabilities:
Extensive experience in nanoparticle synthesis and surface functionalization
Proficiency with analytical and characterization techniques relevant to nanoparticles
Strong understanding of chemical modification strategies for biological applications
Ability to work collaboratively in an interdisciplinary team environment

Qualifications
PhD in Chemistry, Materials Science, Chemical Engineering, Biomedical Engineering, or a related field
