Permanent Educator | Fernvale

About the Role

We’re looking for a warm, dedicated and reliable Permanent Educator to join our team at Journey Early Learning Fernvale.

In this role, you’ll support children across their learning and development, creating engaging, play-based experiences where they can build confidence, explore their interests and feel a strong sense of belonging.

You’ll build meaningful relationships with children and families, contribute to daily routines and learning experiences, and work alongside a supportive team within our close-knit, community-focused centre.

This is a permanent part-time opportunity, across Monday to Friday.

Key Responsibilities

Support engaging, play-based learning aligned with the EYLF
Create safe, inclusive and nurturing learning environments
Support children’s individual learning, development and wellbeing
Build strong, respectful relationships with children and families
Contribute to observations, planning and documentation
Work collaboratively with educators and the Centre Leadership Team
Maintain high standards of health, safety and care
About You

Certificate III or Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care
Completed National Child Safety Training
A genuine passion for supporting children’s learning and development
Warm, caring and relationship-focused approach
Reliable, positive and team-oriented
Strong communication and collaboration skills
Current First Aid, Asthma & Anaphylaxis certificates (or willingness to obtain)
