Tasks & Responsibilities

Apply paint, stain, and varnish using brushes, rollers, and spray equipment to achieve high-quality results
Prepare internal and external surfaces, including stripping old paint or wallpaper, repairing damaged areas, filling imperfections, and sealing surfaces for optimal finish
Safely assemble and use ladders, scaffolding, and other access equipment, ensuring protective coverings are in place to safeguard surrounding surfaces
Maintain a clean and organised worksite, including thorough clean-up of tools and materials on project completion
Adhere to all workplace health and safety requirements at all times
Qualifications & Experience

Minimum 5+ years’ experience in the trade
Certificate III in Painting and Decorating (or equivalent qualification)
Demonstrated experience working on residential or construction projects
Ability to interpret plans and specifications accurately
Strong attention to detail and commitment to delivering quality workmanship
Reliable, self-motivated, and capable of working both independently and as part of a team
Understanding of workplace health and safety practices
