We are a values-focused organisation, who put the people we support, first. Established in 1982 by a group of local parents who wanted respite and accommodation for their now adult children, we have expanded exponentially because our participants love our services.

About the Role:
We’re looking for an Occupational Therapist who is passionate about helping people with disability achieve greater independence, participation and quality of life, based in Edwardstown.

You will:

Conduct Occupational Therapy assessments to identify individual strengths, goals, risks and support needs.
Develop and deliver person-centred therapy plans that promote independence, safety, participation, inclusion and quality of life.
Recommend assistive technology, equipment, adaptive strategies and home, vehicle or environmental modifications based on individual needs.
Provide practical strategies, education and capacity-building support to individuals, families, carers and support teams.
Prepare high-quality assessments, progress notes, therapy plans, reports and funding documentation, including NDIA reports where required.
Collaborate with families, carers, health professionals and other stakeholders to coordinate supports and achieve meaningful outcomes.
Contribute to multidisciplinary meetings, supervision, professional development and continuous improvement activities.
Apply contemporary, evidence-informed Occupational Therapy practice while maintaining professional, ethical and regulatory standards.

The Ideal Candidate Will Have:

NDIS Worker Screening Clearance
SA Working with Children Check
A current Driver’s License
Willing to obtain a Psychological Assessment if required
Tertiary qualifications that meet NDIS requirements for an Occupational Therapist (Bachelor or masters qualification in Occupational Therapy)
Current registration as an Occupational Therapist with the Australian Health Practitioners Regulation Agency (desirable)
