Museum Customer Service Officer (Part Time) City of Newcastle location Maitland and Hunter.
Provide exceptional customer service at Newcastle Museum. Permanent Part Time - 21 hours per week. Don't just work for the City, co-create it. City of Newcastle (CN) is currently seeking an enthusiastic and engaging Customer Service Officer to join our team at Newcastle Museum in this permanent part time role working 21 hours per week Thursday to Saturday.
As Museum Customer Service Officer, you will provide an exceptional customer service experience as the first point of contact for visitors, delivering quality interactions and advice across a variety of channels whilst always projecting a positive image of Newcastle Museum with a welcoming manner.
The Museum Customer Service Officer undertakes all duties and responsibilities associated with being a shift supervisor, for example opening up, locking up, cash management and reconciliation of the POS, plus supervision and direction of casual team members on shift. You will be responsible for the safety of visitors, cultural collections, exhibitions and the physical site. Through your work, you’ll have a behind the scenes pass to Newcastle's evolution as you shape our future as a liveable, inclusive city.

Remuneration: $49,667.36 + 11.5% Superannuation per annum for a 21-hour week
