Mower Operator Morgan and Pollard Landscapes Ltd location Canterbury.

We are looking for an experienced and motivated person to join our team at Morgan & Pollard to undertake the mowing on our maintenance contracts. This will be on a fixed term contract starting immediately and working  through to March 2025.

Duties include Ride on / Tractor mowing, edging work and some spraying work. Our clients are varied, from our high end award winning residential properties, Commercial sites, School grounds, Rest homes, Subdivisions and Sports fields.

The ideal candidate will require the following skills and attributes experienced ride-on / tractor mower. Physically fit as lifting is required to clear catchers. A full, clean NZ driver's license with confident manual driving and trailer skills.

HT license (Class 2 ). Be able to comply with health and safety requirements. Ability to work as part of a team as well as working independently. A great attitude with excellent time management skills. A strong customer focus and an eye for detail. Sound communication skills. Be able to carry out general maintenance on the mowers.

A “Growsafe Approved handler certificate” would be beneficial, although training can be arranged.  Must have NZ Residency. Regular working week is a minimum of 40 hours between Monday and Friday, starting at 7.30am, but flexibility will be required to work extra hours as needed especially over the summer months. Salary will be dependent on previous experience.
