Motel Manager Couple Charbonnier Hotel in Singleton is a 70 room motel with function centre, on site restaurant situated on a large property in the heart of the Hunter Valley and wine and mine country. The role is for the motel and function centre operation only as the restaurant is run independently.

There is a light breakfast we offer all guests that will be needed to be set up and run by the successful applicant. We are looking for a motel management couple who can run the property with support from the owner and general manager.

The people we are looking for should possess the following attributes ability to effectively manage time and staff. Warm, friendly and customer orientated; be able to build rapport. Hands-on, honest and reliable. Good clerical and computer skills.

Positive and energetic, exceptional presentation with a professional demeanour, understand that hospitality can be 24/7 and be willing to assist late check ins or emergencies. Ability to manage and work within a team environment, Police check.

Your daily and weekly duties will include but not limited to management of daily operations and performance of motel. Reception duties and customer enquiries - both corporate and leisure guests. Ensure rooms and grounds/pool are always presentable and maintenance .

Breakfast - standard continental. Assisting with housekeeping and onsite laundry where required. Supervision and staff rostering. Be able to meet KPIs. Payroll and reports to GM and Owner. This is a live in onsite role and requires an ABN and you will be required to be available 24/7 for all kinds of duties like emergencies, guest lock outs, late arrivals.

Remuneration will be discussed to the shortlisted applicants that we get for a face to face onsite interview. Experience is preferable but we are also willing to train, to our processes, to those who have no experience but show that they have the attributes we require.
