Mechanical Engineer Furmanite location Melbourne. We are expanding and have an exciting and challenging Melbourne based opportunity for a mechanical engineer with at least two years experience to join the engineering team and further develop their skills by providing engineering support including mechanical design, drafting of components using AutoCAD/Solid Works, troubleshooting, engineering calculations, client site work, quality process development and technical leadership to staff and customers across Asia Pacific. You will be based in the Australian Head Office in Port Melbourne and travel to other TEAM and client locations for training and development within Australia and overseas. You will providing ongoing engineering, technical and site service support throughout the region. In addition to formal engineering degree qualifications (Eligible for recognition by Engineers Australia), we require the following attributes desire to work in an engineering services environment in-office and on-site, skills in computer aided design (autocad, solid works), creativity and problem solving ability with a “can do” approach, excellent technical communication and client interface skills, attention to detail and good teamwork, willingness to travel within australia and overseas.
