Roles & responsibilities to be able to work independently to execute engine general repair and overhaul jobs on board/ at site. To perform dismantling, repair and /or replacement and reassembling of mechanical component. To perform hands-on fault diagnosis & troubleshoot for mechanical defects. To perform measurement of items in workshop/on board/at site to conform to specs and highlight earliest practically possibility and remedy if off specs.

To lead the allocated manpower (in-house or outsourced), take charge of their discipline and safety during the period of work. To ensure that all repairs, maintenance & overhaul jobs are completed in a timely manner and report to superior on the job completion status. To prepare and ensure all service reports are properly documented.

Requirements must be willing to perform HANDS-ON work in mechanical repairs, installations and removals. Possess basic understanding of basic components and functions of mechanical engines or diesel engines. Work experience in Marine Engineering or Ship Repair field or equivalent field. Able to read simple drawings and service reports.

Able to travel overseas at short notices depend of project. Maintain good working relations with team by working closely with the supervisor and other team members to resolve any issues. Physically fit to work under outdoor conditions. Able to work overtime and under pressure.
