Description

We are seeking a talented individual to join our Marsh Specialty – Construction Practice team at Marsh. This role will be based in Sydney. This is a hybrid role that has a requirement of working at least three days a week in the office.

We will count on you to:

Manage and grow a portfolio of large and complex construction industry accounts
Develop and maintain strong client relationships as a trusted advisor
Drive new business development and support tender responses for major construction projects
Deliver tailored risk management and insurance programs to meet client needs
Collaborate with insurers to provide placement solutions for annual and project-specific requirements
Support and develop team members
Represent Marsh at industry events, conferences, and client functions
What you need to have:

Strong experience in Construction Insurance Broking
Valid insurance broker’s license
Excellent interpersonal, communication, and negotiation skills
Strong business acumen and problem-solving abilities
Tier 1 FSRA Compliance (essential)

10+ years of insurance broking experience
Deep understanding of construction business and organisational risk management
Proven track record managing complex account portfolios
Tertiary qualifications and knowledge of insurance and strategic client engagement
