Description

Purpose & Overall Relevance for the Organization:

To build a market leading and diverse portfolio of partners, athletes, clubs and federations that support brand and category objectives. Identifying and utilising partners at key moments to tell product and brand stories that position adidas as the top-of-mind brand in the market.

 

Key Responsibilities:

Key point of contact for adidas teams strategy, leading partnership discussions and ensuring brand standards are met and maintained across all teams.

Manage the day-to-day operations of key adidas teams and partners, providing industry leading service and ensuring successful fulfillment of all entitlements in line with the contract.

Identify moments within the market that align to both partner and Brand objectives, liaising with Brand Comms to bring to life.

Manage the integration of local partners to bring key brand initiatives to life.

Work closely with local and global stakeholders to secure sign off on all product ranges in line with GTM timelines.

Manage partner budgeting with internal and external stakeholders, ensuring all team requirements are delivered on budget.

Work closely with local partners to deliver product orders on time and in full.

Provide input to the development of local Sports Marketing Plan according to business objectives.

Build recommendations for, and maintain, a diverse partner portfolio supporting key categories and business objectives.

Ensure all partners within the portfolio reflect our Brand positioning – on and off field.

Manage contract negotiations in line with budget guidelines and market evaluations.

Ensure all Sports Marketing operations comply with the global Sports Marketing Policy.

Supervise all local partner related activities in close relationship with the Brand team.

Execute a cross category leveraging approach to the sports marketing portfolio.

Maintain necessary contact with key industry personnel to achieve the objectives of the Brand.

Ensure teams and individuals wear and represent the products according to our Brand Plan to communicate adidas as the leading performance brand.

On ground support for ad hoc Sports Marketing activity in the market.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

Strong relationship with sports teams and partners

Sports knowledge

Effective presentation and communication skills

Strong PC and organization skills

Analysis skill

 

Requisite Education and Experience / Minimum Qualifications:

University Degree, preferably in Sports Marketing

Minimum of 5 years experiences in the sports marketing or promotion department at an international brand.
