The Opportunity

Our Global Pursuits team operate at the most strategic level, leveraging their passion for pursuits to influence decision makers, generating profitable business for our firm.

As a senior member of our Australia Pursuits team, you will lead a team throughout the pursuit lifecycle, driving best practices and continuous improvement across pursuits and bids.

Key responsibilities will include:

Advise on end to end process for major strategic pursuits.
Champion Ashurst global pursuit methodology, driving best practices across the team.
Drive the bid qualification process to coach, advise and influence partners and other key stakeholders to achieve effective big qualification decisions.
Lead and coach a team of Pursuit managers, fostering a collaborative and high performing culture across the team.
Lead strategic improvement projects to deliver a broad impact.

We are interested in hearing from people who have:

Previous experience in a pursuits role at a leadership level in a law firm is mandatory.
Exceptional capability in leading pursuits, including stakeholder engagement and project management skills, and a proven ability to successfully manage complex work-winning processes.
Strong people management capability
Capable and confident to deal with senior stakeholders, demonstrating an ability to influence.
Relentless client focus and passion for bids and pursuits strongly aligned to clients needs.
