IT Help Desk Level 1 Support Kelly Executive location Sydney.

Due to continuing growth, our client is looking for level 1 Service/Help desk support officers to join them on a fulltime basis. This will be a contract role for 6 months initially, with strong likelihood of extension.

You will be responsible for providing technical assistance over the phone and support related to computer systems, hardware, or software and network.

Key responsibilities of the role include answer questions over phone & emails and resolve hardware, software and network issues. Manage a high volume of IT support queries through phone calls, emails in an efficient professional manner. Comply with legislation, policies and procedures in relation to the process. Log all customer inquiries and issues and tracks them until resolution and incident closure.

To be successful in the role you must have 1+ years experience in team-based ICT helpdesk environment. Proven experience in bound telephony systems used in Call Centres, Help/Service Desks such as CISCO or ALCATEL. Proven experience in commercial call logging tools such as ServiceNow, CA Service Desk or Remedy etc.

Understanding of network protocols for example TCP/IP, DNS, SSL and VPN. Proven experience in a high-volume helpdesk IT Level 1 support function. Strong attention to details and time management skills. High level of written and verbal communication skills.
