Your new role
In this role you will act as an independent contractor carrying out IRAP assessments and evaluating the security posture of ICT systems. You will assess compliance against the Australian Government Information Security Manual and the Protective Security Policy Framework, gather objective evidence, review controls and identify risks. You will interview staff, complete documentation reviews, conduct technical validation activities and produce formal IRAP reports and security control matrices. Your work will directly support authorising officers in making informed and risk aware decisions.

What you'll need to succeed
You will bring at least five years of technical ICT experience with a minimum of two years in information security working with the ISM. You will have completed full IRAP assessments for a Federal Government agency and maintain all required IRAP prerequisite qualifications. You will understand the PSPF and Australian Government security guidance and be confident evaluating controls up to the SECRET level. Strong communication skills, independence and professional judgement are essential, along with NV1 clearance.
