The team led by Paul Conaghan, our National ICT team operate out of our Wellington and Auckland offices. You’ll work collaboratively with the wider Corporate Services team to improve business management practices and service delivery standards. This role is the last piece of our ICT team puzzle and you’ll join a team of four ICT professionals providing top-notch ICT Support to our people.
The role as our highly valued ICT System Engineer, you’ll responsible for leading the technical installation, configuration, and support of new and disruptive technologies within the firm. Your skillset will ensure you are able to stabilise and improve our current core systems and security.
This role has responsibility for ensuring the smooth and efficient day to day operations of the Dentons Kensington Swan IT environment, with a key focus on Network, Security and SQL.
Ideally, we are looking for someone who can assist us in further automation and efficiencies to better enable our people through technology. This is a complex role, requiring a multi-talented individual who is keen to share their knowledge, problem-solve and mentor those within the team.
About you, you will be a team player with a well-developed analytical mindset and a desire to build your career as an IT professional. With at least 5 years of experience working in an ICT Senior Support role under your belt, you will be able to harness your skills and experience to provide everyday solutions and drive continuous improvement.
Your relevant skills/experience will include demonstrated knowledge of networking and security – Cisco, Meraki, Aruba, Palo Alto, Qualys, Sophos. SQL database administration and SSRS reporting. Microsoft servers, Azure virtualisation and storage technologies. Microsoft suite of software products - Office, M365 and Azure.
Technical qualifications, for example Microsoft Certified and /or tertiary qualification. Knowledge of the Microsoft Power Platform (Forms, PowerApps) and automation techniques (PowerShell) is essential.
Knowledge of iManage and/or Elite 3E would be advantageous, but not essential. Technical qualifications, for example Microsoft Certified and /or tertiary qualification. The desire to upskill and mentor team members.
