Head of Wealth Partnerships Debbie Graham and Associates Limited location Auckland.

The firm is a well established financial services provider with a national presence. Our client’s investment solutions include New Zealand, Australian and global equities and property as well as New Zealand, Australian and international fixed interest.

The core purpose of this role is to drive growth and expansion of the investment management business and work closely with the Chief Investment Officer to execute the strategy. The ability to actively cultivate and manage a network of referrals and identify strategic opportunities to grow funds under management is critical for this appointment.

The opportunity achieve new business targets and grow funds under management. Develop strong relationships with investment consultants, financial advisor groups and rating agencies. Develop an acquisition strategy and identify target referral sources. Liaise effectively and credibly with HNW and Retail clients.

You will understand the investment process and product offerings from firms within the group. Communicating client feedback on new product options and requirements to increase product offerings and identify seed funding for new strategies. Development and maintain collateral including presentations. Participate in ad hoc research and projects across any asset class. Actively engage with all people within the group, developing strong internal relationships.

Your expertise, attributes and approach a minimum of 5 years of relevant business development experience, possibly with the CFS L5 (investment strand). With an understanding of the big picture and wider global economy, you are an articulate, informed and persuasive communicator to sophisticated clients.

You can articulate the philosophy and process behind the firm’s investment decision making, including risk/return characteristics of the fund range and wealth offerings. You are resilient and appropriately persistent with the ability to work independently. Comfortable reporting and presenting at a senior leadership level.
