At No Name Lane Cafe we pride ourselves on creating exceptional coffee experiences. We are a locally owned and operated coffee shop known for our high-quality brews, unique blends, and community-focused atmosphere.

We are looking for a passionate and experienced Head Barista to lead our team and continue delivering outstanding service to our loyal customers. Our café opens from 5am so you must be available for 4.45am starts.

Responsibilities lead and mentor a team of baristas, providing training, guidance, and feedback to improve their skills. Oversee daily coffee preparation, ensuring the highest quality drinks and consistency in every cup. Manage inventory, order supplies, and keep the café well-stocked.

Ensure all health, safety, and cleanliness standards are met. Foster a positive, team-oriented work environment. Handle customer complaints and feedback professionally, ensuring a high level of satisfaction.

Create and maintain a welcoming atmosphere for all customers. Stay up-to-date with coffee trends, new brewing techniques, and equipment to keep the menu innovative and exciting. Assist in hiring, training, and scheduling baristas.

Requirements 3+ years of barista experience, including at least 1 year in a supervisory or leadership role. Must have full availability. Expert knowledge of coffee, espresso, and brewing techniques.

Excellent communication and leadership skills. Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. Experience with latte art and advanced coffee brewing methods (e.g., pour-over, siphon brewing).
