About us we are a doctor owned,  RACGP accredited practice and we are looking for someone special to join our team. We have an opening for a GP to work with Marketown Health in a busy private billing practice with a well-established patient base. Marketown Health has been operating in Newcastle for over 40 years.  Formerly KSGP,  we relocated to modern facilities in Marketown East Shopping Centre in 2017.

We have terrific group of people working with us. Our team consists of 12 doctors and 4 registered nurses supported by an effective administrative team. The Marketown Health clinical team has strong relationships with other allied health providers. We are a teaching practice dedicated to maintaining a high standard of care for our patients. We encourage Doctors to pursue their own interests within the breadth of general practice.

We offer a wide range of services including travel and corporate medicine Our practice is modern and well set out with a well-equipped treatment room . We offer commercial medicine services to a range of corporate clients.

We are only minutes from excellent schools, beautiful beaches, the harbour, lake and only a short drive to Hunter Valley vineyards. We are located on major bus routes, walking distance to trains and have car parking on site. We are open Monday to Friday 8:00 am to 5:00 pm. We are a very busy practice and are looking for someone who can hit the ground running.

About you, you must have FRACGP/FACCRM and be registered with AHPRA. You must be looking for a permanent position with a long term view. You must have strong interpersonal skills and be willing to work as part of a team. You must want to practice excellent medicine.
