About the role

Based at our InfraBuild Recycling Hexham site, the Operator will perform a range of duties within the metal recycling yard. This is a permanent day shift role with hours from 7am to 3pm, Monday to Friday. There will be on-the-job training provided and excellent opportunities for career progression/multi skilling.

Pay rate for this role is $33.14 per hour plus super.

What you will be doing:

Operating forklifts to load and unload trucks and shipping containers
Performing manual handling tasks
Maintaining cleanliness in the yard and operational areas
Conducting daily checks on mobile plant
Adhering to safety procedures at all times

You will be rewarded with:

What you will bring:

Forklift licence and experience are essential
Experience in scrap recycling, construction or manufacturing is highly advantageous
Comfortable working in a fast-paced yard environment
