Position Florist for fresh flowers, location Meadowbank Shopping Centre, St Johns, Auckland, Type Part-time.

Responsibilities create stunning and innovative floral arrangements for various occasions, including weddings, birthdays, anniversaries, and corporate events. Assist customers in selecting the perfect flowers and arrangements to meet their preferences and special occasions.

Maintain a well-organized and visually appealing flower shop, ensuring that all displays are fresh, attractive, and well-stocked. Handle incoming floral orders, both in-person and over the phone, with a focus on providing excellent customer service. Stay up-to-date on industry trends, floral design techniques, and new flower varieties to continuously enhance creative skills.

Requirements proven experience as a florist, with a strong portfolio showcasing your floral design skills. In-depth knowledge of different flowers, plants, and floral design techniques. Excellent customer service and communication skills.

Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously. Creativity and a keen eye for detail in floral arrangements. Strong organizational skills and the ability to maintain a clean and inviting work environment. Flexibility to work weekends and holidays as needed. Previous experience working in a flower shop or similar setting is highly desirable.
