REMONDIS Australia is seeking an experienced Finance Manager to join our team in Mascot. This full-time permanent role offers the opportunity to lead financial operations while contributing to Australia's leading waste management and recycling company.

About the Role

As Finance Manager, you'll oversee core financial operations, ensure compliance with Australian accounting standards, and support strategic initiatives across our business. This position is central to maintaining financial integrity and enabling informed decision-making through robust financial insights.

Key Responsibilities

Lead preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports for all entities
Maintain fixed asset registers and oversee BAS submissions
Supervise central accounting functions including general ledger reconciliations and journal entries
Drive automation and efficiency improvements in financial workflows
Support treasury functions including cash flow forecasting and liquidity management
Mentor and manage accounting staff, fostering a high-performance culture
Coordinate audit processes and liaise with external auditors
Collaborate with branch teams and departments to strengthen operational alignment
What You'll Bring

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
CA/CPA qualification
Minimum 6 years finance experience, preferably in waste management or similar industry
Prior finance manager experience in complex business environments
Strong knowledge of Australian Accounting Standards and financial reporting
Experience with ERP platforms and financial systems
Proven ability to mentor teams and drive process improvements
Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills
