Factory Worker Sydney Garage Doors location Sydney. $28 – $31 per hour.

Sydney Garage Doors Pty Ltd is looking for a new member of our team. We are offering ongoing work Monday-Friday. Permanent work opportunities available for the right individual. Requirements sydney Garage Doors is seeking a person who is self-motivated, has a strong work ethic, an eye for detail, is physically fit, and can work as part of a small production team.  Experience is preferred in using hand tools and specific training will be provided. Forklift licence preferred and an Immediate Start for the right person.

Duties include cutting and processing aluminium sections. Cutting cladding products and sheeting. Assembly of garage doors. Aluminium welding. Safely load and unload materials on to machinery. Ensure quality standards are met.

Driving a forklift. Loading and unloading trucks and containers. Be available to start immediately. Must have reliable transportation. Sufficient reading skills with ability to read a tape measure. Strong attention to detail. Hand tools experience.

Initially the successful candidate will join the team as a full time employee with a permanent position available for the right person after 6 months’ probation period. The successful candidate will be working from Monday-Friday 7am to 3.30pm in our modern manufacturing facility based in Guildford west.

About you physically fit: often lifting/moving weight. Safety conscious and the ability to adhere to WHS policies and procedures. Strong attention to detail. Reliable, punctual and hard working. Basic reading, writing, math and computer skills. A good attitude and able to work within a team.

To be successful must have full working rights. Own transport is essential. Able to commit to ongoing work. Experience in a production environment.
