Full-Time Event Assistant or Coordinator China Cultural Centre location Sydney. About the role act as project coordinator for events, such as exhibitions, shows, workshops, seminars and forums, etc. and implement various activities of the centre, make proposals and advice for the events, receive relevant visiting delegations, coordinate and assist in delivering the centre's events, including speaker liaison, catering and venue booking, assist in events setting up and other ad-hoc duties as requested by the management, complete other tasks assigned by the director. About you to be successful in this role, you will love working in environments that are culturally and artistically focused with lots of opportunities to engage and interact with professionals of the field, as well as customers and guests of various professions. You have australian citizen or permanent resident status, bachelor degree or above in culture, communication, art management or related majors, strong coordination skills and the abilities to work independently, experience in organizing cultural events and understanding of the australian cultural market are highly preferred, excellent verbal and written communication skills, obtain current naati level iii translation certificate between english and chinese.
