Enrolment Officer Happy Paws Happy Hearts Limited location Brisbane.

We're looking for a passionate customer service professional, who loves people and animals, to enrol new participants in our life-changing social inclusion programs. Title Enrolment Officer. Reports to Team Leader – Enrolment. Employment type: 0.8 FTE – 1FTE (4 or 5 days per week), location Brisbane (Wacol).

About Us HPHH is a social enterprise and charity supporting people experiencing isolation (particularly those with a disability) who seek to participate in the community and develop as an individual and meet their individual goals.

Happy Paws Happy Hearts is a national organisation and we're growing quickly!  We are seeking to expand our reach and impact, by enroling participants in our life-changing courses to experience meaningful interactions with people and rescue animals – and build skills, connection, and confidence. We want to be a truly awesome example of what's possible when supporting people in social isolation.

About the role you will manage National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS), Department of Veterans Affairs (DVA) and general customer acquisition and develop new customer opportunities. You will guide participants through the Enrolment process, including setting up orientation sessions, conducting enrolment interviews with potential participants (in person, online and via phone), reviewing their funding plans and options, and advising them on how best Happy Paws Happy Hearts can support them.

Although based in Brisbane, this role supports the onboarding of participants across all current, and emerging HPHH locations across Australia. This unique role with Happy Paws Happy Hearts also requires the support of and interaction with rescue animals which participants help train to improve their chances of adoption.

Key responsibilities respond efficiently and effectively to enrolment-related enquiries (via phone, email and/or website) in a timely manner. Carry out designated duties/tasks as per the monthly growth targets for the commercial team. To perform acquisition and enrolment duties for participants as specified:

Locating potential participants and working closely with them to identify if HPHH meets their unique need. Increase the number of participants joining HPHH through the new enrolment and orientation process as per growth targets for the organisation as a whole, and specific locations.  Generate interest in HPHH by attending networking opportunities, open days and promoting the organisation to prospective participants, volunteers, referral agencies and business partners.

Lead participants through potential course options and the important benefits offered by participating in HPHH, including working with the training team to facilitate orientation and build cohesive groups with maximum participant numbers.

Build and maintain positive relationships within the community services, disability support and animal welfare industries. Report on and proactively review participant numbers, growth trends and client feedback to inform marketing strategies and improve program uptake. Undertake accurate input and management of data within relevant HPHH systems following defined procedures and processes.

Facilitate community inclusion and participation, dependent on individual needs, abilities and preferences, and support participants to establish and maintain relationships and interests through access to our services. Maintain current knowledge and understanding of the relevant organisational and Government policies, procedures and guidelines including WHS requirements, responding to any incidents within specified guidelines. Embrace change in line with the principles of continuous improvement and play an active role in the future development of Happy Paws Happy Hearts.

Typical qualifications and experience demonstrated ability to deliver high quality customer service within a busy and multi-disciplinary work environment. Experience in enrolment, sales and on-boarding of clients or students would be highly regarded. Excellent working knowledge of the NDIS and ability to understand an individual's funding sources and package inclusions. Current Qld Drivers License (essential).

Working With Children Clearance - Blue Card (essential). NDIS Worker Screening Clearance (essential). General awareness of health & safety issues. If you have qualifications and/or demonstrated experience in social work, human services, education, disability service sectors or similar, these will be highly regarded.

About you you’ll have a knack for utilising systems and process to get the job done and possess the following a strong drive for program growth, including onboarding new participants, embracing new programs, audience bases and locations. Excellent computer skills including demonstrated competence in the use of various business systems including CRMs. Demonstrated ability to follow defined procedures and processes, with excellent attention-to-detail. You love making friends of the furry and non-furry variety.

You have a positive disposition and the ability to handle a high volume of enquiries and engage with a range of stakeholders with friendliness and good humour.
