Ventia is seeking a skilled and safety-focused Electrical Maintainer / Operator to join our Operations Team at Millmerran Power Station.

As a key member of the Operations Team, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining coal and ash plant equipment to ensure maximum availability, efficiency, and safety. This dual-role position combines hands-on operational duties with maintenance responsibilities, supporting the broader maintenance team as required.

Key responsibilities include:

Operating, inspecting, isolating, cleaning, maintaining, and repairing plant machinery and equipment
Collaborating with the maintenance team to meet plant performance targets
Using the Computerised Maintenance Management System (CMMS) to manage and complete work orders
Participating in risk assessments, safety analysis, and continuous improvement initiatives
Ensuring compliance with safety, environmental, and operational standards

What You’ll Need

Trade qualification (Electrical)
First Aid Certificate
Experience in coal plant operations or industrial experience
Loader Ticket/ Forklift Licence
This role is based on-site at the Millmerran Power Station. For fatigue management reasons, the successful candidate must reside within a 1-hour drive of Millmerran or be willing to relocate (at their own expense).
