Desktop Support Hays Information Technology location Sydney, CBD, Inner West and Eastern Suburbs. IT Level 1 support in vibrant NFP Office Northern Beaches Sydney 1 month contract. Your new company this not for profit organisation is currently seeking a pro-active, solution focused level 1 helpdesk Officer to join the ICT team on a short term contract. This NFP organisation is based in the Northern Beaches Region of Sydney and offers employers on site parking and is also located close to public transport. You will be joining a vibrant and friendly team. This is an immediate start. Your new role as helpdesk officer you will support hundreds of users with level 1/2 technical issues, including Desktop. You will be responsible for answering the phone and being that first point of contact providing top tier customer service, along with using a ticketing system. You will work in a small team, delivering IT support to end users, which may include Windows 7/10, Active Directory and password resets, Outlook, Skype for business and Exchange. You will be troubleshooting Hardware and Software. What you'll need to succeed to be a fit for this role you will have minimum 2 years recent experience in a level 1 helpdesk role, have excellent customer service and be immediately available, experience in microsoft technologies - active directory, windows operating systems, an interest in supporting users with bespoke applications and software, excellent communication skills and confident to speak to stakeholders at all levels, a pro-active, solution focused, and customer centric work approach, previous experience working in a government environment would be advantageous.
