Customer Service Officer Horowhenua District Council location Manawatu.
As we take our region from Good to Great, we need more Great people to join our team. Horowhenua District Council is seeking an energetic, people focused Customer Service Officer to join our Customer Service Team based in our Libraries and Community Centres.
This Fixed-Term position works 35 hours per week and provides customer service for both external and internal customers by receiving and responding to all enquiries and requests in person and by phone, receiving and processing payments over the counter and providing support and administration services to the Community and Council. This Fixed-term position is available for 18 months until June 2022.
To be successful you will need to have proven experience in a front facing customer service roll. Be a confident communicator in a range of topics. Have a real motivation for resolving issues and providing customer service excellence. Ability to relate well to all people and contribute to a positive team environment. Have the ability to think, talk and type in a fast paced environment. Cash handling experience would be an advantage. A positive “can do” attitude.
