Aotearoa New Zealand has a strategy for the elimination of COVID-19. Elimination means being confident that chains of transmission in the community are eliminated for at least 28 days and any future imported cases from overseas can be effectively contained. The pillars of the elimination strategy are border control, robust case detection and surveillance, effective contact tracing and quarantine, and strong community support of control measures.
The Northern Region Health Coordination Centre (NRHCC) is the Auckland-regional hub, formed to lead and respond to the COVID-19 pandemic, its purpose being to ensure the health system and its population is as prepared as possible for future COVID-19 outbreaks in the northern region. Roles in NRHCC work within a multidisciplinary team within a semi emergency response framework.
This role is a Mon to Fri, full-time role in the Consumer Experience Team, responding to customer queries and complaints regarding the rollout of the Covid vaccine in the Auckland region. It can be very busy with over 100 email enquiries a day.
We are seeking individuals who enjoy working in a fast paced environment and who want to take this step in their career to do something exciting and make a difference to their community. To be successful you need to be able to respond proactively, find answers and be able to deal with queries fast. It would suit someone who has worked in a customer service role before.
