QML Pathology is a comprehensive medical laboratory and pathology practice with laboratory and patient pathology collection centre locations throughout Queensland, Northern NSW and Tasmania (Tasmanian Medical Laboratories).

About the role a vacancy exists for a Courier to join our Bundaberg team and enjoy stability and fulfilment with QML Pathology, part of Healius, a progressive healthcare leader. This Part Time position (Minimum 55 hrs per fortnight) will be required to work various shifts between the hours of 7:00am and 7:00pm Monday to Friday and participate in occasional weekend and public holiday shifts as required. The successful candidate will receive full training, join a friendly and professional team dedicated to patient care and a company committed to excellence for our patients, our doctors and our people.  Duties include: The position is responsible for the pick-up and transportation of pathology specimens, x-rays, medical reports, vaccines and other supplies from Medical Centres & Hospitals. Picking up and delivering pathology samples, blood products, financial documents, test results and clinical waste; preparing and delivering pathology supplies to medical practitioners as required; proactively develop customer relationships both internally and externally; promote QML Pathology in a positive and professional manner at all times; and compliance and adherence to Quality, Workplace Health and Safety and Confidentiality policies.

You will possess excellent customer service and communication skills; a current Driver’s License; attention to detail; a strong customer focus; the ability to work autonomously; strong time management, interpersonal and organisational skills; an ability to be flexible with working hours; an excellent driving record; must be a cohesive and contributing member of the team and display positive attitudes towards achieving outcomes; a willingness to adhere to departmental and organisational policies and procedures; Good knowledge of Bundaberg and the surrounds is desirable.
