Corporate Receptionist DFP Recruitment location Brisbane. $40 - $45 per hour.

Federal Government Department are seeking an experienced Corporate Receptionist for their Brisbane based premises. The receptionist is responsible for assisting with the overall running of the office, ensuring it runs efficiently, is safe and fit for purpose. You will be the primary point of contact, along with the office manager, for internal and visiting external stakeholders.

Role duties will include provide a high level of Customer Service to all internal and external stakeholders. Provide support to the Office Manager. Jointly responsible for logging and following up of Tenancy Services Requests logged with Building Management. Be involved in the on-boarding and orientation of new starters to the Brisbane office. Allocation of cab charges, opal and go cards. Maintain an up-to-date level of knowledge regarding facilities and security policies and procedures. Invoice processing, stationary orders, catering requests and meeting room booking.

The successful applicant will have strong communication and interpersonal skills. Proven interpersonal and customer service skills. Demonstrated administrative skills with a focus on time management and organisation.

Ability to build effective working relationships with senior staff, internal and external stakeholders. Previous experience providing reception support in an corporate office environment. Prior experience within government environment is desirable (not essential). Involvement or previous experience in implementing work health and safety practices in the workplace.
