We are currently seeking a Chef/Cook to join our team on a Casual basis at Immanuel Gardens aged care based in Buderim!

Remuneration: $29.12 – $30.42 per hour + Salary Packaging (up to $15,990) + Access to staff discounts & benefits.
Experience in a commercial kitchen, along with a Cert III or Cert IV in Commercial Cookery, is highly regarded.
About The Role:

The Chef and/or Cook plays a vital role in leading and guiding the meal service team to ensure efficient and effective operations. You will assist in the preparation and delivery of nutritious, high-quality meals for our residents, ensuring food safety standards are maintained and dietary needs are met. You will be part of a supportive and experienced team in a friendly working environment.

Be eager to deliver a 'food-first' approach to combating malnutrition.
Have demonstrated experience in a high-volume kitchen catering team (aged care or healthcare kitchen experience preferred but not essential)
Hold a Certificate III or Certificate IV in Commercial Cookery or above.
Must hold a Open manual driver’s licence
Availability to work weekends
Must maintain a valid NDIS Worker Screening clearance
