Description Karman trading Limited t/a Caltex Remuera is seeking (4) checkout operators -customer service to manage our well-established gas station in Auckland.

About the role 4 Full-time permanent position with a minimum of 30 hours per week and a maximum of 45 hours per week. Salary between $30-$32 per hour depending on experience.

The requirements for this job are as follows good communication skills. knowledge of the gas station industry (preferred), full training provided. Ready to do shift work if required and work on weekends or holidays as rostered.

Duties include provide the best possible service to all customers. Attend to customers and resolve product or service problems by clarifying the customer’s complaint in effective way. Process accurate payments using the registered payment system. Sort, count, wrap currency and Cash check for customers. Ensure that checkout stations have adequate cash available and staffed appropriately.

Be competent in cash handling and the workings of the cash register. Attend to post shop duties; includes collecting courier and selling postage products. Making coffee if required, training will be provided. Process merchandise returns and exchange. Attend to Trailer hire duties; collecting payments, handing over the trailer and receiving them back. Maximize sale efforts. Always inform the customers about ongoing deals.

Assist with restocking, stock rotation and dusting all stock in the store. Be friendly, polite, accurate and courteous with customers and other staff at all times. Maintain the store in a clean, tidy condition at all time. Constantly be aware of the stations security and advise management of any lapses to personal or station security. Fulfil any other general duties as required by the management. Clean and groom vehicles.
