Catering Assistant Mercy Parklands Hospital location Auckland.

Mercy Parklands is a private hospital providing excellent residential care, with a proud history spanning 30 years. We are a not-for-profit organisation comprising of 97 beds, located in Ellerslie, Auckland.

The successful applicant will demonstrate experience as a Catering Assistant in a Hospital setting. Minimum of 1 year experience in working with the elderly. Must have own vehicle and full licence. Excellent food hygiene skills and practices. Hygiene and Food Handling Certificate is an advantage but not essential as training will be provided. Excellent customer service skills including good time management. Ability to work an early shift 6am to 2.30pm as rostered. Commitment to quality improvement and service development.

Daily tasks will vary but include serving meals to our residents, collecting dishes after meals, operating the commercial dishwasher and basic preparation of some food items.  Mercy Parklands offers competitive pay rates, subsidized meals, uniforms and much more.
