Casual Medical Admin and Event Co-ord Association Solutions location Brisbane.
We are looking for someone to join our small team offering administration support to both for profit and not-for-profit clients. We have an eclectic range of clientele and will need someone who can be flexible, empathetic, self motivated and very friendly.
We need someone who can handle no two days being the same and be able to deal with weird, wonderful and bizarre. We are a small, tight-knit team who have worked from home for over 15 years to establish a strong connection with our clients and their clientele.
We need to find the right person for this role who can work autonomously whilst being part of a team, be proactive and always have a smile. This is a casual role, working approximately 4 hours per day 3-4 days a week during business hours and will be set times each week. You will need to provide your own computer, mobile phone and internet.
The role is two fold with quite different aspects to each side of the business medical Administration - working in mental health and will include booking patient appointments. Answering incoming phone calls (via a web based app). Liaising with Doctor's surgeries.
Triaging patient referrals for appointments. Assisting patients with telehealth setups for appointments. Compiling templates and reports. Directing patients requiring urgent care to the appropriate medical service. Event and Administration - working with not for profit clients.
In addition to above, we will also need someone who can assist with conference and event management, maintaining websites, preparing newsletters, assisting with invoicing and helping out with the wide array of administration work that comes our way. Bookkeeping knowledge would be wonderful.
There is a high degree of telephone work with this role, so you must have access to a quiet and private environment. The ideal candidate will have experience working in the mental health sector. Have an excellent phone manner and clear, concise communication skills.
Be an administration guru. Have strong computer skills (including MS Word, Excel, Powerpoint, PDF writing). Have experience in conferencing and events. Be accountable, able to multi task and think independently.
Be able to work in a remote team environment. Understand patient confidentiality. Have a proven track record of delivering high quality work with at least 5 years experience. Have a fabulous personality and very high attention to detail.
Applicants must be based within an hour of Brisbane and have full working rights within Australia. Applicants further than an hour from Brisbane won't be considered for this position. Applicants must also be fully vaccinated for COVID-19.
