Campus support officer University of Canterbury location Canterbury.

What you will do you will be the 1st point of contact for emergencies occurring on the University campus, you will monitor the 24-hour CCTV system and contribute to the activities of the security officers undertaking security checks.

You will be responsible for the 24-hour operation of the security front desk including the monitoring of all security & fire alarms for the University and the supervision of the security team.

Who you are you have experience in security as well as experience in a customer service focussed role. Having experience in a large organisation is preferred however if you are willing to learn new processes and systems, this isn't necessary.

You are an adaptable person and can pragmatically solve problems when required. As you will be the face of the security office, it's important you are positive and helpful. Who You Will Work with the UC Security team provide a comprehensive 24-hour, 7 day a week security service across the UC campuses.
