Role as the Business Support Officer in the Strawberry Hills Housing Office, you will work closely to the Director. Manage a high-volume shared mailbox environment. Collate and review information submitted by district staff and coordinate program area responses.

Have a keen eye for detail with an ability to gather accurate information utilising multiple IT systems and produce reports. Collaborate with team members to assist with the delivery of core business requirements. Provide accurate and timely written and verbal advice to district staff who require information.

Liaise and work across DCJ divisions and non-government stakeholders to ensure effective working relationships. Undertake tasks that contribute to the achievement of effective business outcomes within agreed timeframes. Work effectively within a team and display DCJ values.

In addition to meeting the requirements, the successful candidate will have the following experience in providing high level of customer support for internal and external stakeholders. Excellent communication skills, written and verbal. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Strong ability to build and maintain relationships. Proven ability to manage competing priorities with tight timeframes. High level of knowledge, skills and experience with Word, Excel and Power point. This recruitment will aim to fill 1 ongoing position and create a Talent Pool for ongoing and temporary positions, as they arise in accordance with the Government Sector Employment Act 2013.
