About the role we have an exciting opportunity for experienced administration professionals. The NHVR’s Statutory Compliance division requires a Business Support Officer for both its Prosecutions and Investigations teams. You will provide critical and timely administrative support to your Director based in Parramatta, and the broader team members, located across SA, VIC, NSW and QLD.

Some of the key responsibilities of this role are provide professional support and oversee administrative processes, such as records and correspondence management. Prepare, facilitate, follow up and action correspondence for the team in line with correct templates and standard wording, while ensuring deadlines are met.

Support your Director with a broad range of tasks, including organising meetings and preparing agendas. Complete finance-related tasks such as creating Purchase Orders. These are permanent, full time positions based in our modern workspace in Parramatta. We also welcome applications from Melbourne and Brisbane-based candidates. Given the support nature of the roles, after hours work may be required on an infrequent basis over the weekend.

About you crucial to your success, is your ability to manage a high load of competing priorities in a fast-paced environment. You will be energetic and motivated to work in a team environment to deliver a broadly-based administrative service.

You will be flexible in nature and able to prioritise and apply sound judgement to decision making, while exercising professionalism when responding to confidential, sensitive and challenging information. You will be able to quickly learn working knowledge of a new industry and work autonomously.

With your high level of interpersonal skills, you will build strong working relationships within your team and across NHVR’s business divisions. Strong attention to detail and high level written communication skills are required to effectively prepare documentation.

To be successful for the role, you will have a minimum of three years’ experience in fast-paced business administration roles, supporting senior management and broader teams. Experience in the use of Microsoft Office Suite and a range of information technology systems is highly regarded.
