About this role

Our growing Private Advisory (Business Services) team is looking for an Accountant or Senior Accountant to join our vibrant, friendly Sydney office.

Business leaders face many challenges throughout the business lifecycle: from managing daily operations, tax and compliance, to navigating a competitive landscape and planning an exit strategy. Key responsibilities

Preparation of accounts, tax returns, BAS, FBT and payroll tax returns for a broad range of clients, from SMEs to large companies

Assist with tax and accounting advice

Build and maintain positive working relationships with clients

Monitor, review and liaise with clients regarding compliance requirements

Provide development, coaching and mentoring opportunities to less experienced team members as required

Skills and experience

Qualification(s) and / or professional accreditation(s) in a relevant discipline such as Business / Commerce, Accounting or Finance, or other relevant professional or overseas qualification(s)

Have commenced (or planning to commence) a CA qualification

Significant professional experience in business and tax advisory within a chartered accounting setting

Excellent written and spoken communication skills, with a desire to go ‘above and beyond’ to delight your customers

Highly organised, with the ability to manage competing priorities within a deadline-driven environment
