What you’ll do at HammerTech

As a Business Development Representative (BDR), you’ll partner closely with Account Executives to drive sales growth by prospecting strategic enterprise accounts, including new verticals like utilities and infrastructure. You’ll refine our pitch to enter new markets, set up meetings with potential clients, and build strong relationships with existing customers to identify expansion opportunities.

Key Responsibilities

Research new industries to identify and qualify leads in new verticals
Generate high-value pipeline within assigned Enterprise Accounts
Serve as the first point of contact for new prospects and determine next steps
Support outbound campaigns and lead generation efforts alongside Account Executives
Lead prospect meetings, manage introductions, follow-ups, and deliver high-level product demos when needed
Maintain active engagement with prospects and customers to create business development opportunities
Identify and pursue upsell opportunities within existing accounts
Collaborate with the team to meet company goals and targets

Our ideal candidate will bring the following:

Tertiary qualifications in sales, marketing, business, or related field
Experience in SaaS business development, preferably in construction or related industries
Familiarity with Salesforce, Outreach, Gong, or similar CRM tools
Excellent communication, negotiation, and client relationship skills
Strong listening skills to uncover true customer needs
Analytical mindset with problem-solving ability
Ability to work well in a high-performing team environment
Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities
Proven track record of meeting targets and KPIs
Initiative, competitive drive, resilience, and persistence in overcoming objections
